I've been hearing a lot about the US waterboarding contoversy lately but I wasn't sure what exactly it was. So I did a little research and found this video of a well-known writer for Vanity Fair who agreed to be waterboarded for research. Heavy stuff.
Here's another one with another writer. The soldier explains really well exactly how it works. That's obviously some hardcore stuff.

I can't believe you hadn't seen it before. They were showing it a lot on Keith Olberman a few weeks ago. It's very very scary. I can't watch.
