The reason why I think neither will be the other's running mate is because I don't see either as someone who could stand being subordinate to someone else. Imagine Bill Clinton trying to come in and serve as an adviser to Obama while Hillary is the VP. In my opinion, that'd just be a disastrous clash of egos. But honestly that's just speculation.
