Spoiler-douche
Paul F. Tompkins is a comedian who frequently appears on Best Week Ever. I find his dry, sarcastic humor to be quite funny.
However, he acted like a complete douche on Friday nights episode of Best Week Ever by revealing the ending to the movie There Will Be Blood. And the producers of the show were equally douchey by allowing it to air.
Thanks a lot, a-holes. And congrats on being Preash's Douche of the Week.
Oh, btw, I give There Will Be Blood 4 Preashes. You should go see it. Do yourself a favor, though, and pop a couple anti-depressants before you head to the theatre. This movie is heavy.
I went into it knowing almost nothing about the movie (except how it would end, dammit) and I think it made me appreciate it more.
It's nominated for a bunch of Oscars, including best picture and best lead actor. So obviously Daniel Day Lewis played his part brilliantly (he won the Golden Globe), especially at the end, but I was also very impressed by the young guy who played Eli/Paul Sunday. I think he should have been nominated for best supporting actor, but what do I know?
They did a great job of building the tension throughout the movie with the score. You feel like the entire movie is building up to something huge, and I was afraid that there wasn't gonna be a payoff. But I wasn't let down.
I then snuck into No Country for Old Men, which I give 3 Preashes. The ending wasn't as bad as many made it out to be, but it definitely isn't your conventional Hollywood ending.
