WTF is going here? TLC just cancelled Jon and Kate and now this happens. Serendipity.
Popular opinion seems to be that it was a huge publicity stunt by a family (that's already been on Wife Swap) desperately seeking attention. Cops are investigating.
And this video seems to support that theory. Here, we see apparent leaked video of the release of the balloon. With OMGs and everything. So, so shady. Seth Green and Jim Breuer were like, "FAKE."
And then they reluctantly do a morning show interview. And Balloon Boy yacks.

You know, it breaks a mothers heart and is sickening to think of a mssing and endangered child. This it totally unacceptable and should prompt a thorough investigation of these "PARENTS".
Don't try to act like you never sent Rustin and I into orbit when you were pissed.
