Just watched SNL and was blown away by this French band called Phoenix.

The first song they performed was "Lisztomania". I found this great "brat pack mashup" video that someone edited to accompany the song. Somewhere, John Hughes is cumming.

I'm sure I'm months behind on the Phoenix fandom wave, but whatevez. I was busy watching videos of inter-species animal friendship and fat people getting hurt. Winner.

Addendum: Jammed the album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, twice today. It's killer. Very synthy, happy, ethereal, groovy, luminescent stuff. Makes you wanna smoke a doobie and hang out by the beach at night.
