The Workplace: "...and it wasn't me."

Yesterday, I was waiting on our hottest, MILF anchorwoman to shoot a topical with me. She's cool and down-to-earth, but a little flaky at times. She took forever to put on her makeup, then had to go the restroom.

How did I know she was in the restroom? When she's finally ready, she hustles over apologizes for making me wait. Then she mutters something. My hearing is bad to begin with, plus I still can't hear out of my right ear because of the infection, so I make her repeat herself.

She says, "The restroom stinks and it wasn't me." I don't know what to say, so I just respond with one of my go-to acknowledgment phrases: "Uh oh." She goes on, "I just don't want anyone to think it was me. You know when someone else really stinks up the restroom and you have to come out afterwards? I just don't want to be blamed for it."

How is an enamored young man supposed to react to this kind of "banter". All I could do was kinda laugh. It might make sense to me if I was a girl and could potentially smell it later, but I doubt that a rumor that Oklahoma City celebrity and co-worker ______ ________ takes smelly dumps would get around to me.

She's still hot, though.
