TV: American Gladiators - Where are they now?

The new American Gladiators premiered on NBC last night. I caught the last half hour. It was pretty much what you'd expect. If you liked the original AG, you were probably wondering how they could possibly screw up the new one.

2 differences I noted:
1) There's a voice-over guy who makes snarky, cheesy puns a la MXC (but less controversial).
2) Too many quick cuts. I noticed it most when they were doing the tennis ball gun challenge. The director kept cutting from camera to camera way too quickly. Granted, it might get a little boring watching a guy hiding behind a foam triangle and catapulting tennis balls at a meathead for 60 seconds, but come on.
