Miss Vickie's is well known for their delicious chips. I'm a big fan of their jalepeno-flavored chips and their mesquite BBQ chips, and even the sea salt and vinegar ones when I'm feeling daring.
So when I went to Quiznos with Work Dave today and noticed that they now make Creamy Buttermilk and Ranch flavor, I was excited to try them out. (Especially when there was a sign that said, "Available for a limited time." That's how they get ya!)
What a giant disappointment.
Initially, and very briefly, they taste like Sour Cream and Onion chips. Then, after a few seconds you get the ranch flavor. I found the ranch taste to be too much.
When you eat chips, you expect a salty taste. But there was no salt flavor whatsoever, so you're just left with that overly-rich ranch taste. It was like if you just ate a spoonful of ranch dressing. Gross.
I couldn't even finish the bag which, if you know me, you know is a rarity.
